Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the gold standard certification for serious backcountry users. It is accepted by many outfitters employing backcountry- and cycling guides; also search & rescue teams and some ski patrols. Includes AHA BLS Provider CPR and Stop The Bleed.

 Wilderness EMS (WEMS) is an upgrade for currently certified EMTs, paramedics, RNs, and physicians. Recommended for backcountry guides, ski patrollers, and search & rescue team members. Includes AHA BLS Provider CPR and Stop The Bleed.
